Who is responsible
Letrego (letrego.com) is run by Hamora team, a small independent team of web developers and SEO writers. Hamora team is responsible for this site and for any personal data described on this page. For any privacy question or request, email hello@letrego.com.
What you type in our tools
Every tool on Letrego, from the font generator to the binary translator, runs as code inside your browser. The text you type is converted on your own device and is never sent to our servers or any other service. Copying uses your device’s clipboard. Creating a bubble-letter image happens on your device too.
The only thing we keep is optional: if you star a font style as a favorite, the style’s name (for example “bold-script”) is saved in your browser’s local storage so the list is there next time. Your text is never saved. You can clear it any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
The contact form
If you use the contact form, your name, email address, topic and message are sent to our inbox by email so we can reply. We don’t add you to any mailing list and we don’t use your message for anything else. The form also records which Letrego page you came from, to help us find a reported problem.
To keep spam out, the contact page (and only that page) loads Cloudflare Turnstile once you start filling in the form. Cloudflare says it processes signals such as your IP address and browser details solely to tell people from bots, not to identify, profile or target anyone. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum.
What our hosting provider sees
The site is delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for, in order to deliver pages and protect the site against attacks. We use this only to run and secure the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Cookies
Today, letrego.com sets no cookies of its own. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so no font service learns that you visited. On the contact page, Cloudflare Turnstile may use strictly necessary signals or cookies to block bots. This will change when ads and analytics are added, as described below, and you’ll be asked first where the law requires consent.
Analytics (planned: Google Analytics)
We plan to use Google Analytics to understand which tools people use, so we know what to improve. It would collect information such as the pages you visit, the site that sent you, your general location (city or country), your device, browser and screen size, and how long you stay. Google says Google Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses from users in the EU, the UK or Switzerland.
Analytics will never receive what you type: we will switch off the setting that records form interactions, and we won’t use session-recording tools that capture typing. You will be able to refuse analytics in the consent banner, or block it everywhere with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising (planned: Google AdSense)
Letrego is free and will be lightly ad-supported through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, a consent message from a Google-certified consent tool will let you accept or refuse personalized ads before any are shown. If you refuse, you may still see non-personalized ads, which can use cookies for things like limiting how often you see an ad and preventing fraud.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:
- Google: My Ad Center (Google’s ad settings)
- Many other ad companies: aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu
Google explains how it uses information from sites that show its ads on this page. Whatever the ad setup, ads will never block a tool or cover your text.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the EU and UK under the GDPR, you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its use. We hold almost nothing that identifies you, but email hello@letrego.com and we will answer. For data Google collects through ads or analytics, Google’s own settings above are the fastest route. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Letrego is a general-audience site. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children, and the tools don’t ask for any.
Changes to this policy
When something changes, such as switching on ads or analytics, we update this page and the date at the top. The short version at the top will always say what is active.
