Why we built it
Most font sites we tried were packed with ads, slow on a phone, and never mentioned that half their styles turn into empty boxes (□□□) once you paste them. We wanted one that loads fast, stays honest, and tells you what works where before you use it.
How the tools work
- The “fonts” are Unicode characters, not font files. That’s why they keep their look when you paste them into a bio, a chat or a game.
- Everything runs in your browser. What you type isn’t sent to us or to anyone else. The privacy policy explains the details.
- We check facts against the source: Unicode’s own character data, Emojipedia, and the apps’ help pages for things like character limits. Pages link to those sources.
- Every page shows when it was last updated, and that date changes only when the content does.
What we promise
- Letrego is free, with no sign-up. It is lightly ad-supported.
- Ads will never block a tool or cover your text.
- We tell you when a style might show as boxes or get blocked by an app.
- We fix mistakes when you report them.
